At this time in our market, we are plagued with the problem of counterfeit products. This problem is very much alive and spreading regardless of what continent one might purchase their product.

As a distributor, we must make all efforts to avoid letting counterfeit product ever leave our door and end up on our customers' assembly lines. To do so, we scrutinize our supply chain no matter if our supplier is a distributor here in California, Europe, Asia, or anywhere else in the world.

Our inspection process is also scrutinized even when we purchase excess inventory from OEM's and CM's, as they might no t knowingly have counterfeit products in their inventory and pass that on in an excess purchase.

If for any reason any product does not pass our complete quality inspection, we then take another step prior to shipping anything to our customers, we will send products out to a testing facility that is able to decap and x-ray at a 300x magnification process to verify the internal die.

Here are photos that represent devices that have been decapsulated by machines in order to see the internal wafer and chip set. In most cases the condition of the device can be detected as well as the manufacturer’s logo and/or the device part # on the wafer will prove the identity of the chip is in deed what has been represented.
